NaNoWriMo is a non-profit organization that depends on donations to keep going and spreading its good works. In today’s episode I list several reasons the organization matters and make an appeal to you to help out.
SHOW CORRECTION: When I first introduce the non-profit aspect, I call it a 503(c). Later, I realize I said it wrong and try to correct myself. Since then, I have looked it up. NaNoWriMo is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Everything else is correct, including the tax deductible nature of your donation.
